Bali absolutely needs no introduction. For decades, golfers from all over the world have found their way to the fairways and greens on "the Island of the Gods" to indulge in heavenly golf. The Bali Handara 18-hole course, way up on the Bedugul plateau, for years was considered one of the top-50 courses in the world. Stiff competition has been thrown its way by yet another Balinese "beauty", called the Nirwana Bali Golf Club. The course was designed by Greg Norman and is part and parcel of the Nirwana resort, which includes the luxurious Le Meredien hotel. The Bali Golf & Country Club in Nusa Dua is the third championship course in Bali and is conveniently located not to far away from Bali's capital Denpasar.
