Jakarta GolfJakarta is a metropolitan city that is home to more than 13 million people. In and around Jakarta, golfers can find more than 35 golf courses of which the majority are of world class quality. Jakarta has three major golf regions. Unlike some other Asian countries, here you do not have to travel up to two hours to reach the better quality courses. All of the top quality Jakarta courses are located less than one hour from Jakarta's city center and the major hotels. The prime golf region is alongside the Jagorawi toll road, that stretches some 45 kilometers from Jakarta all the way south past the Sentul Highlands to the "green" city of Bogor and Puncak area, where we find at least 17 courses of extremely good quality.
The second major golf region is located in Tangerang, west of Jakarta, and is easily reached by the Jakarta-Merak toll road. It is home to six enchanting courses. The third major golf region is located east of the city's center alongside the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road. Here, we can find seven fabulous courses.
